Istiak Nasir is a highly acclaimed stand-up comedian from Bangladesh who has gained international recognition. His comedy journey began in 2010 at Naveed's Comedy Club, which was the country's first dedicated comedy club. Istiak's talent and wit quickly caught the attention of audiences, leading him to participate in the popular Indian comedy show "Mirakkel" in 2011. As a finalist on Season 6 of the show, Istiak became a beloved figure among Bengali communities worldwide.

Over the past decade, Istiak has diversified his career by hosting his own radio show and acting in various television dramas. He has also entertained audiences through his comedic performances on television, radio, and corporate shows. Additionally, Istiak has explored his creativity behind the camera, working as a creative writer and director on several television shows.

In addition to his entertainment career, Istiak has also been involved in development sector work. He has collaborated with international organizations such as BBC Media Action and the Johns Hopkins Center for Communications. As a team leader with the UK volunteer team in the International Citizen Service (ICS) program for Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), Istiak has dedicated his time to working in rural Bangladesh on three separate occasions.

While Istiak has excelled in various aspects of his career, he has a particular fondness for live shows. His original and observational jokes address everyday life problems, politics, social norms, and Bengali culture.
